Please recommend a good pair of jeans

I bought a pair of 'super skinny' jeans from the River Island sale after Christmas and initially they fit perfectly and made my bum look good but they've stretches and now look baggy.

If I bought the size smaller, I'm not sure they'd actually fasten!

Had a similar issue with Next jeans too.

Does anyone have any suggestions that won't break the bank please?

If you like super skinnies, try M and S 5 pocket jeggings. Ignore the fact they're from M and S and then ignore the name, they are excellent skinny jeans in thick but stretchy denim and my fave jeans ever. I have J Brand £££ ones which are quite good too but prefer my M and S ones. They have them in light and dark denim and in a lovely grey too.

Next jeans are always rubbish on me, as are Dorothy Perkins and supermarket ones. New Look and H and M can be ok if you avoid the cheapest ones. Topshop ones are overrated IMO.

I'd second the M&S 5 pocket jeggings, they are skinny jeans, but not skintight, nothing like leggings, with a lovely stretch, good rise, different leg lengths and true to size. Lots of colours too.

I'd heard good things about Whistles jeans, if anyone has any further opinions on them? The quality of a lot of their stuff has gone downhill lately, but there will be a 25% Grazia code very soon which will make the jeans more affordable if they are any good.

Thank you! I'll try the m&s ones first; as luck would have it I got an m&s voucher for Christmas (well, DS did but he's only 4 months old so sure he won't mind if I use it Grin)
