Joules Quilted Jackets - Yes or No?

Anyone have one of the Joules Quilted Jackets? Are they fashionable or frumpy? I thoughy they mighy be nice for spring.

Not particularly fashionable, no. When I think of Joules I think of posh people who live in the country and go huntin', shootin' and fishin'. If that sounds like you, go for it!

thanks ladies for stopping me from making an expensive mistake Blush. juneau definetly not hunter type lol more of a school run and shopping person. Any advice for a nice spring coat??

For spring I like something lightweight and shower-proof, like a trench. Banana Republic has several different styles, if that interests you?

Yes to banana republic trenches. I have two, they are fab.
I hate Joules. It just screams middle class stay at home Range Rover driving mum to me... Who's trying to prove something by dressing herself and her army of dcs in Joules. I think it's utterly naff, sorry!!

Oly4 don't be sorry, I wanted an honest opinion, I never heard of joules before mumsnet and don't have anything fro. there but came across them while looking for a spring coat. I will order one from benettion, their quality is usually excellent Smile

I just bought a dark brown one - its bloody lovely. Got a lovely long stylish coat but I was fekkin froze all the time. I clocked a quilted jacket in Joules that was reduced to half price. I don't feel frumpy in it, just warm.

Love my Joules quilted jacket, very warm and has lasted a couple of years really well still looking new. It's funny how different people view clothing as suiting a certain type of person and are more than often completely wrong! Never gone hunting, don't drive a Range Rover, never been called frumpy and don't dress my children in Joules to prove anything ha ha ha!
