Anyone else love shoes/ boots?

I have probably over 50 pairs of shoes/ boots. I love them! Some I've probably only worn a few times but I can't bear to part with them. I don't know why I love them so much but I feel like a collector of them, like some men collect stamps or Sci Fi toys, something like that. AIBU to love them so much? Is there something wrong with me, anyone else feel like this...? Feel like I'm always looking for the perfect pair of shoes/ boots. Also sometimes buy shoes that I love but then when I wear them, they hurt my feet. Feel but still don't get rid of them!

I do the same with handbags. I know I have a problem but can't seem to stop.

The thing about shoes is it does not matter how much weight you gain or lose, they always fit. They also go out of fashion more slowly than clothes. This makes them far more appearing than other fashion. The same, of course, could be said about bags and scarves.

Ds2 is trainers and dh is coats/jackets!

Yes for me it's something about, even if I can't find something flattering to buy clothes wise ( am a size 14-16), shoes will always fit!
