Are these running tights hideous?

Nope, love them. But then my dh did describe my gym kits as looking like a rainbow threw up on me so I might not be the best person to voice an opinion.

I love them. Better than boring black. (Ie all my running leggings.)

Kitty I always used to stick to darker colours, no patterns ever, now I'm thinking, stuff it, if I have brighter clothes it might make me happier to get out of bed at 6.30am to go for a run.

I think if I get them, I just have to decide to wear them with pride and not think about whether they're hideous or not

June that's exactly my feeling. I have the brightest colours I can find because they make me cheerful and I like wearing them.

I particularly like my orange sports bra with my purple running vest, looks awesome, especially with my turquoise and pink trainers.

All my tights are black though. I'd love some bright patterned ones.

When I'm driving to bootcamp at 6am (stealth boast) I keep seeing runners wearing head to toe black. I say see but they are really well camouflaged and I worry for them.

They're a bit 1980s Windows screensaver but most MN-ers probably weren't even born then so won't be put off.

They do look a bit like the 80s wallpaper one of my XBFs had in his bedroom.

I wear black capris personally but I think anything goes when you are running….

I cycle to work and often bung my capris under my skirt so I don't flash at the cars. I often wish they were a different colour so it was really obvious I wan't flashing!

Not entirely sure the look would be enhanced by fluorescent running tops like I wear either unfortunately. Maybe I should just stick to boring black tights!

I do like to stand out but tend to find it's easier to get bright tops than bottoms. I ran in very heavy fog the other day and it did cross my mind that I could do with fluorescent tights as well. Not sure top to toe fluorescent is a look that would catch on though

Love the second pair, first pair ok - I have mostly black bottoms but I really want something a bit brighter. My first priority is of course fit and comfort as well as a good pocket for my phone.
