Facial sun cream.

I was in my local dermatology department this week having a mole removed from my back. All of the other patients were elderly and they were all having things removed from their faces, especially noses and ears. So now I have a new resolution to wear sun cream on my face. Any recommendations for a good moisturising one? Thanks!

Ooh yes, I am on the search for a good one. I had La Roche Posay Anthelios last year - supposedly it wouldn't leave a white cast on my skin. But it really really did!

I use boots p and p factor 15.

I really love tinted Ultrasun factor 30 www.johnlewis.com/ultrasun-spf-30-tinted-face-sun-cream-50ml/p1189139
I have dry skin and it feels and smells beautiful, as well as having a really nice healthy colour.

Another vote for Ultrasun. We lived abroad for a while in a very hot and sunny climate, and I felt that I tested out almost every facial sunscreen on the market before settling on this as the best / least greasy / most effective. Agree about LRP and the white film. It made me look like a ghost.

I like the Clinique City Block ones (spf 25 and 40) and used it loads while living in Switzerland where the summers are hot and sunny. But I'm not one to be lying in the sun for hours - if I was, I'd probably use something else.

I used one from La Roche Posay made for oily/acne prone skin. I used it once or twice and got loads of horrible spots all over my face.

Thanks Special that is an interesting article. I don't sit out in the sun for hours and I always use factor 30/50 on my body and my kids. Have been using this on my face but have found it rather drying.

Tinted La Roche Posay. I wear this instead of foundation during the day.

FrugalFashionista · 27/02/2015 19:23

Just repurchased the liquid Chanel SPF 50. Not greasy, acne neutral, I routinely wear it every day.

I love the Boots No 7 one. Very non greasy.

Loveleopardprint · 27/02/2015 20:47

Thanks all. I will go and have a look around the beauty counters tomorrow.

I use Neutrogena ultra sheer dry-touch 30 SPF. It's an American import though, you can't get it here sadly.

My one to avoid is Elemis. It leaves me with a white film and makes my skin very greasy.
