Need an amazing moisturiser! Skyn Iceland anyone?

I have just turned 40, and my skin is falling apart! It is dry, flaky, sensitive, bumpy and beginning to look really old! I used to use MD formulations which made my skin really soft and smooth but now can't get it.
I have been looking at Skyn Iceland range and their cloud moisturiser. It's pretty expensive but if it's worth it to not have me look like a hag I'll give it a go. Or any other suggestions please :) thank you

Not used any Skyn moisturisers but highly recommend their Fresh start mask (my skin glows when I used it). I have also used their Nordic Skin Peel Pads which are also very good.

Thanks Rosie, I was in M&S awhile ago and they had rep who raved about it and pretty much convinced me their products would do wonders on my 40yr old, single mum of 3, stressed skin! It's a lot to pay on a gamble though - if they did small testers I'd buy them in a shot.

Hi. I agree there should be testers. But just wanted to let you know that M&S have offers on Skyn kits at the moment. Noticed there is one for £20 which includes a face wash, day cream, mist and night cream. There are some other offers on-line but didnt check these out. Perhaps worth a look. Otherwise Avene is good for stressed skin and often on 3 for 2 at Boots.

Thanks Rosie

I have recently bought the Neal's Yard Frankincense Hydrating Cream and think it is fantastic. A rich, deep moisturiser but not oily. Really rate it.

I have heard good things about that too, thankyou. I think NYR can be good with testers/small sizes?

The one I have does not specify : just says for all skin types . I am in my fifties and have sensitive and combination skin. This seems to suit me perfectly !

I bought mine in Waitrose - seems to be the only one they do from this range. Described as Neal's Yard Organic Frankincense Hydrating Cream. £24.75

DrankSangriaInThePark · 27/02/2015 20:18

NY Hydrating is their normal one I think. I have always used the nourishing though as my skin is dry. I've just bought some samples of the intense from ebay as it's getting rave reviews. Only used it for 2 days so far.
The NY frankincense facial oil is fabulous and really makes a difference to my skin.

GingerLDN · 27/02/2015 20:34

Definitely go to a Clarins counter, they are great with giving you testers and their products are brilliant. Love their facial oils and moisturisers.

The liz Earle moisturising oil is very good for your issues.
They sell it on QVC with a 30 day refund policy.

LalaDipsey · 03/03/2015 07:29

Fab, thankyou. I have just got a Liz Earle skin repair moisturiser tester and after that am going to try a NY tester. Hoping to find one which works soon!

Shea butter for intense treatment, then Camellia oil for maintenance moisturisation, very light and effective. I get mine from Fushi, highly recommended
