Open pores - what product?

I have noticeable open pores on my face. Can I get rid of these or only hide them? My make up just looks awful and I want flawless

What products do you recommend? I have dehyrated skin that I'm still trying to sort out and find the right products for.

Pores are supposed to be open so all the gunk can escape. The beauty industry's latest obsession with selling us 'invisible pore' goo is to kid us we can actually look like those air brushed images in magazines and online.

Remember that woman who got painted all over in Gold in a James Bond film? well her pores were made invisible and look what happened to her.
