Duty free

I'm going on holiday in May and I'm writing up a little list of things I'd like to buy from duty free. So far on my list I have the Estée Lauder advanced night repair. That's it.

What would be your skincare/makeup recommendations?

I usually buy Elizabeth Arden eight hour products, particularly the lip balm.
Also most perfume is a good price.
Le Pliage bags

Oh and Chanel lipstick

Mac make up if you use it, and also any sets they sell on board which tend to be good value like eight hr sets as recommended above.

Me again....I know it's not skincare/make up but I just remembered I got a good price on Philip Kingsley Elastisizer in duty free last year

Speaking of Mac....anyone know if ManchesterAirport do it? Or, (DH travelling to USA for work) is it cheaper to buy in New York? Want to replace my Mac Brave lippy and its always out of stock here!

Eliza22 · 25/02/2015 14:34

Sorry, OP. Meant to say, I stock up on Lancome mascar (as I'd NEVER buy at full price) and basics that I buy time and time again....Lancome foundation, Estée Lauder Double Wear Concealer.
Apologies for throwing in MY Mac question!

Flambola · 25/02/2015 16:01

No worries. They do have MAC at Manchester. Can't help you with the price question though!

Yes, Lancome mascara! Added to list.

Thanks for the Philip Kingsley tip. I'd never heard of it before! Has very good reviews.

I've had a little look at the in-flight brochure but it's a Winter one at the mo.

Ok, thanks! Hope "Brave" is in stock [ smile]

Dh is travelling a lot for business at the moment, I'm going to ask him to see if they have Molton Brown. I love their heavenly gingerlily bath bubbles, they smell really lasts through your whole bath and beyond, and lingers on the skin. I love it! Plus a bottle lasts me a good few months

Dh travels a lot for work too, so i do ask him to get the odd thing here and there. He has bought Clarins for me and a couple of perfumes, but to be honest I could have bought them here at home for the same price, plus as I know my Clarins lady really well now, I do tend to get a lot of extra freebies from her that DH couldn't get at duty free....
