What bra size am I?

I measured myself the other day and it came out at 30inch for under my bust and 33inches for across it. According to an online calculator I should be wearing a 32C (I was wearing a 30D, but have gained some weight recently). The 32C is quite tight though around the band, should I be wearing a different size?

Thanks

30C would be the starting point.

Was the Overbust measurement taken bending over?

If you scoop breast tissue into your existing bra do you get overspill?

Attraversiamo · 24/02/2015 18:20

Is that not smaller than a 30D or 32C? Both are too tight

No I just took the measurement across the way, they don't overspill either but the cup doesn't cover all of my boobs at the side though

thebetterbracampaign.blogspot.co.uk/p/fitting-advice.html?m=1 -measure according to this guide

sounds like the cup isn't big enough. what bra did you buy?

StatisticallyChallenged · 24/02/2015 18:26

Try the bending measurement described in the link, it makes a huge difference for some people

Attraversiamo · 24/02/2015 18:30

Aw ok, it was one I bought from ASDA. I can't take another day of it riding up/hurting me so I'm going to go and get a cheap one tonight to see if it fits and is comfortable for tomorrow (hopefully!)

If its riding up then that suggests the back size is too big.

SorrelForbes · 24/02/2015 20:26

It sounds to me like you need a bigger cup than you measure. Try a 30D/DD.

StatisticallyChallenged · 24/02/2015 20:48

Yup, riding up is definitely too big, you need to try a 30 and, if the 32C is tight probably a DD at least
