I am going bra shopping today. Until recently I always bought 36B but started to bulge out the sides. I then bought a 36c and the bulge isnt as bad but the cups sit off me a bit at the top.
Can anyone help please as useless at measuring myself

I tried Matalan as that was all that was at the shopping centre I went apart from Tesco!

OK, Matalan bras (quality and sizing) aren't really going to be of a good enough standard to help you establish your 'core' size, however needs must Grin.

The cup was definitely too small, making the bands feel too small as well.
There is no way that you need a 34" band so stick with 30 and 32 for now. If a 34DD cup was tiny then you're going to need at least an F in a 30. I'd try a range of sizes: 30F/FF and 32E/FF for starters.

Where sells them as Matalan only went to DD.
I dont mind paying for the right fit it was just convenient to try there last night

If you've got a Bravissimo within travelling distance, then I'd recommend a visit. If not, then Debenhams, JL and HoF all stock larger cups. Debenhams own range ('Gorgeous') runs small so you'll need a 32 in that brand.

We have a Bravissimo! will have a trip there next week and let you know how it goes.
Thanks for all your help I feel really silly being so far off the mark for about 35 years!

You are not alone so don't feel silly. Enjoy your Bravissimo trip and don't forget to report back.
