Highlights too brown

I asked the hairdresser for blonde and got light brown. Its very 'flat' mid to light brown (I am dark mouse brown) and makes me look ill. Would some lemon juice in rinse water when i wash it bring them up to golden or should i go back??? What about that lightening gel where you put it in lonto strands yourself and it lightens it instantly?? John Frieda??

I would go back and tell them you didn't get what you asked for

Go back. Honestly they should correct it. Or you could use lemon juice and a lightening shampoo. They are mildly effective. Really though hairdresser should correct it.

Don't try to correct it yourself! Especially going lighter, you could ruin your hair's condition even with lemon juice. Go back, they will be used to it and happy to correct.
