Wise mumsnetters can you help me? I need a new leather handbag and I have a lot of criteria as I'm hoping to make a reasonably high end purchase (for me!)
It needs to be not black and preferably not tan but I would consider the right tan bag if it came along! I'm considering taupe or grey or pewter or something like that. LV's Damier print would also work.
It needs to work predominantly for casual wear but not be too casual - however if I need to use it for work occasionally it needs to be presentable for that too.
Ideally I like a bag that I can carry on a short strap in the crook of my arm and that also has a longer cross body strap. I'm only 5"4 so it can't be too big.
I like classic, preppy style - Tods bags, prada bags etc are fab but they are out of my budget. I also like Coach. My budget is around £600 but somewhat flexible. I'd like to avoid DKNY, Michael Kors....
