I'm due to attend a wedding in a few weeks. Am bf and baby won't take a bottle. I need a decent outfit that will accommodate but on a limited budget. Any suggestions, recommendations or links most gratefully received! Xxx

asos have some nursing maternity dresses that might work here the skater ones are nice.

Seraphine had some nice dresses.

Tiffany Rose dresses are lovely and although marketed as maternity wear, the crossover ones can be used for breastfeeding. They're pricey but I bought a lovely one in EBay, wore it several times and then sold it for more than I paid for it!

I had a couple of events while still bf. I wore normal wrap dresses with a vest underneath, and used a muslin to over me while I got baby latched on. Removed the cover once latched. I have huge boobs so those nursing dresses always had slits in the wrong places for me Hmm

Same as Anything, I wore normal dresses with a crossover front to a couple of weddings while breastfeeding, with a cropped vest top underneath which I lifted up. It was lovely being able to wear normal clothes! I had a lovely silk one from oasis. I'm not very tall and always found nursing dresses too long, every one I tried made me look very dumpy.

Something like this: www.oasis-stores.com/plain-crepe-wrap-dress/dresses/oasis/fcp-product/5550090548 - the one I had was this shape with a little popper in the crossover bit, once unpopped it was easy to whap out a boob quite discreetly Smile

I used to buy from mamanana.com/vetements-dallaitement_c_2.html?page=2&view=split.
French company, fantastic customer service, really helpful when it came to choice and style etc. Remarkable, actually. That was a few years ago but I think it's still owned by the same people. I've linked the French site but there is an English button somewhere, I just can't see it atm.

ellisisland that's a lovely dress. I think any kind of jersey wrap (or even low cut) dress would be OK. It can be dressed up with fancy shoes and lovely accessories, and a pashmina could be used to cover you while you feed if you feel the need.

I thought I might bump this thread as I'm also searching for spring wedding outfit ideas for breastfeeding.

I had been thinking about a top and trousers, I'm not great in a dress and as the wedding is in the north of Scotland I might freeze too!

Any other ideas?
