Those are awful. Sorry.

How about some loafers?

burnishedsilver · 20/02/2015 22:31

That is not what I was expecting when I clicked the link. They're old man shoes.

FrantasticO · 20/02/2015 22:52

Oh dear, I'm obviously not a style guru Grin

Thought they looked a bit grim and frumpy!

Was hoping against hope that the style people would say they are fabulous as loving the comfort of my DM biker boots.

Soooo back to drawing board

Thanks tethers and burn for input.

They'd be fine if you're a nun Grin

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 20/02/2015 23:03

Sorry but those shoes in the OP are some of the ugliest I have ever seen. How about leather Converse?

FrantasticO · 20/02/2015 23:10

Okay.
So I'm not a nun, but have no style!
I can get to grips with that Grin
(Searches for rosaries a la madonna) stylish no?
Off to google leather converse
Cheers everyone Wine

Not feeling the love to be honest.
But willing to try hypnosis.

Just want some nice shoes that don't break my feet!

Thanks again for any input.

Sorry link wasn't working .

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 20/02/2015 23:35

I'm not so fond of the plain black ones.
I like these burgundy ones
I have them in tan and have worn them to death.

FrantasticO · 20/02/2015 23:38

Like them for jeans!
What can I wear to work that's semi smart?
Thanks Remus! Days off covered I think!

OP posts:
RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 20/02/2015 23:43

:)

What do you wear work-wise? Skirts? Cigarette pants? Wide-legged trousers?

clarad · 20/02/2015 23:50

Don't actually think OP's first shoe choice is too bad. Though, I would get them and black and would only wear them with linen trousers or something. Wouldn't go to well with jeans and DEFO not with any sort of dress!!

Not sure if it's quite your thing but these? or I am in love with these?

stripytees · 21/02/2015 00:16

Why not get Doc Martens lace up shoes if you like DMs? The ones in the first link are horrible...

stripytees · 21/02/2015 00:21

Or even these are a more feminine option from the same collection www.drmartens.com/uk/Womens-Shoes/Dr-Martens-Kara-Shoe/p/15045202

FrantasticO · 21/02/2015 08:26

Like the Kara stripy.
Work in a job where I'm in and out of houses frequently take shoes off at door so slip ons preferable.

Remus I wear either wide leg trousers or jumper dresses with leggings
might need to source a habit if I get some nun shoes!

Grin I'm so glad you took that comment in the spirit it was meant Smile

Have you tried Fly London? These are quite pretty I think and look super comfy. www.shoes.co.uk/womens/fly-london/flats-ballerinas/seve-1609200301/petrol
