Boys dungarees age 3-4?

Please help me find some. Dc4 was 2 before Christmas but wears 3-4. All the lovely cute clothes stop at 2-3. He was wearing a combination of joules/boden/john lewis. I can't find dungarees in age 3-4 anywhere.

Gap? I got some dungarees for DS before Xmas from there - the toddler range goes up to age 5, although they do run small.

DS is big for his age at 19 months and his are age 3 (but rolled up once on the bottom and there's a bit of play in the shoulder straps).

Will have a google now, ds was 104cm just after his birthday and weights 3.5 stone so definitely a large lad. Boden 2-3 are almost like shorts just below his knee Confused

Next have some denim dungarees in the younger boys section which are cute with a bright colored tee, have also got some in h&m before.

poocatcherchampion · 20/02/2015 15:41

We've given up on dungarees since dd1 potty trained. Too much of a FAFF.

herecomesthsun · 20/02/2015 20:37

Frugi are very good quality and come up big

I think there are less age 3-4 because they aren't the most practical for potty training. I used to love them.

Cute little clothes go up to 5-6 in next, they will probably do dungarees

weaselsquirrel · 20/02/2015 21:14

I have the one pair next have and debenhams. He doesn't wear jeans/trousers/joggers well they don't sit right (plus he takes them off). He's only just 2 not near potty training at all. Frugi only go up to 2-3 they don't fit him in length.
Thanks all.

Have you considered potty training? 2 is average I would have thought. Ds's were before 18months but I think that's earlier than usual. But they didn't ' show signs', I just started on toilet at every nappy change from about a year old.

Mine wore dungerees lots newborn - 12/14 months, then none for about a year as easier for me to help them on toilet Easier. But do love them again now they are almost 4 and 5, as they can undo dungerees alone now to wee!

IWannaHoldYourHand · 20/02/2015 21:20

H&M do them. Both my 4 year old and 5 year old have dungerees from there.

BikeRunSki · 20/02/2015 21:20

Dungarees tend to stop at 3 because of potty training.

weaselsquirrel · 20/02/2015 21:33

Confused really don't want to turn this into a potty training debate! Shall not be potty training until at least the summer. My first son I attempted to potty train at 18m it was hell, left it a few months and so it repeated he just was not ready. Left it until one week before his third birthday and he trained in 2 days and never an accident. Ds2 didn't even try as he just wasn't ready, again just before third birthday he took a week to train. My dd trained in a day with no accidents at all at 2.5. None have ever wet the bed or nor did I have to carry pottys around with me etc.

Just posted because I thought maybe I'm missing some shops which may sell some dungarees for my 2yr old who is very tall.

slippermaiden · 20/02/2015 21:44

I had a tall toddler and gave up on dungarees because they were tall! 2 part clothes work so much better if you have long legs (and this coming from someone who knows the agony of a one piece swim suit!)

weaselsquirrel · 20/02/2015 21:49

Thanks slipper Smile I will have a look for some nice joggers/tie waist trousers. When my older boys were this age the seemed to be lots of dungarees about.
