French Connection dress for wedding - opinions please!

Fancy getting this French Connection dress for a wedding! or rather civil partnership, that I'm going to soon.. It's a bit edgy and my friend hates the straps..

I love it and will probably order to try anyway but would be interested in other opinions pls Grin

It's more of an evening party dress on its own, with a jacket it would look smart, it's quite long.

I think it's fine but nothing special.

It gives the impression it would be diffficult to style for a wedding though.

I like it and I don't really agree that there should be a special look for attending a wedding, as long as it's not too revealing and you make an effort to look nice.

I have a lovely white blazer and another white jacket I can try, white or black strappy sandals and a black YSL clutch..

It's my Uncle's civil partnership so no probs with wearing white... It's a fairly small event (around 50 people), posh hotel, string quartet playing, classy but intimate...

I don't dislike it, but it seems v expensive for what it is. I'd expect silk for that price.

I absolutely hate those shoes that they've styled it with. Yours are much nicer.

What's your height? I like the dress but would be far too short on me. 77cm length would be well above the knee.

Aw some mixed opinions..

I might wear black with it.. I'll see what it looks like once it arrives...

coffee I didn't look at the actual measurements.. I am tall, 5'9" but the model must be at least as tall as me and it's on her knee so hopefully ok.
