Has anyone stumbled across a grey silk cocktail jacket?

Anywhere?????

I just can't find one (sob).

I have a wedding to attend in one months time, and have my dress- soft dusty pink/red fine wool knit, bias cut ankle length, 3/4 sleeve, scallop neck. I bought it in a little independent shop so I can't link to it.

But I really need a jacket... I suit a structured style best - one button to do up around the waist to accentuate hour glass shape - rather than a draped style. I have lost nearly 4 stone so I don't mind splashing out for my body debut! I haven't seen these people in years.

In my head I picture a soft gun metal grey silk jacket, one button to nip the waist, and to flare out a little on my hips.

Size 14/16 depending on the style. I have big norks (GG).

You could try Shibumi they do a wide range of silk jackets and they can all be made in any colour from their range of fabrics www.shibumistyle.com
They are what I would call an investment piece though, haven't seen one anywhere in the shops.

They are beautiful, but too eastern for me. The quality is stunning but I need the print to be quite plain and preferably with a collar.

This is pretty close, but too many buttons for my boobage I think. And I can't find one in my size anyway.

It is on that fine edge where it falls into workwear though.
