If so are they hard wearing?

I don't but I'd love one. I do have a Makki clutch, which is eel skin, and it just gets better and better with use. I assume this is the way of all eel skin.

Yes it's gorgeous! Had a mustard one for a year then the clasp broke cos I stuffed so much stuff in it now I've got a grey one. The leather/skin has worn really well, it's surpisingly strong as its so soft

I may be tempted!
