At the grand age of 34 I thought I'd better sort out my skincare routine. I have bought a garnier skin cleanser yesterday but since then my skin feels greasy and like the oil production on my nose has gone into overdrive. I have combination skin, quite a few open pores and black heads on my nose and chin.
I followed up the cleanser with a toning water from Lush and my usual moisturiser, is it just my skin adjusting?
Any advice would be great!

Which cleanser is it?

HeyheyheyGoodbye · 16/02/2015 11:45

How did you apply/remove the cleanser? Even if it says otherwise I would always recommend applying to dry skin and removing with a hot, wrung-out cloth.

Yes, agree with Heyhey. I was thinking it might be one that advises to cotton off or something.

It's garnier softening cleansing lotion. I have been applying then wiping off with cotton wool, will try the hot flannel instead!

I would also suggest to try the oil cleansing method, it worked absolutely wonders for my skin www.fushi.co.uk/healthy-lifestyle-news/oil-cleansing-method-for-glowing-skin/

Also the good old high quality rosehip oil is great for balancing the oily-ness of the skin, as the oil is usually overproduced when the skin is too dehydrated
