What hair dye (with pics)?

I haven't dyed my hair for about 15 years but the time has come to start covering my grey hairs rather than keep pulling them out . My hair is dark brown but with chesnut running through which I'm looking for a colour that isn't too flat. Any suggestions?

Your actual hair colour is lovely.

In all honesty, to avoid a flat colour you're best going to a hairdresser who will use 2 or 3 different colours.

If you're planning on doing it at home, you can get apps where you upload your picture and can see what you'd look like with different colours.

Oh bugger I was afraid that is need a hairdresser might have to keep plucking a bit longer as I'm skint still after Christmas.

I think the John Frieda foam ones are the nicest home-dye ones.
