Wash in wash out?

I was snapped this week in a picture from the back and I'm gutted by the view!!!

I'm starting with the hair. Last year, I dyed it and it went a dreadful dark colour. I then stripped it and left it to recover. One holiday in the sun and it lightened considerably and I've left it to grow. My roots are awful and it needs a style. I don't want to dye it so was wondering about a gentle wash in wash out sachet?

Okay - your hair has gone from dyed to stripped (ColourB4 or similar?) then sun lightened?

That's alot for hair to sustain .

TBH , I'd try for a colour that's near your root colour (though I don't know if a wash in/wash out would be strong enough)

Maybe one of those conditioning semi perm colours? (I don't use semi, mine is a permenant colour) and condition intensley afterwards .(Go for a colour sustaining shampoo)
It sounds like you want something quick to tide you over this time.

But really (really you know this) you need to go for the chop.

Thank you 70. I'm trimming my hair every 6 weeks and its a chin length out of shape bob at the moment. My hair has never grown at a normal rate - dont know why - even my hairdresser comments on its slow growth, so a drastic cut would be too much for me to nearly.

I long to go back to natural, and I long for hair that actually grows!
