I'm a size 9.

I can't find boots anywhere to fit me that don't cost £££££s.

I buy a pair and they turn out to be not a 9.

God. Can anyone tell me where they are all hiding?

Have you tried Duo? They have a sale on currently.

Yes, Duo are good. Their 43 is a proper 9.

Also a size 9 and annoyed at the lack of choice. I find Next can be hit and miss but got a nice pair of boots there this year

Another size 9 here. If you are near London, go visit Chiltern Street (nr Baker Street tube) as it has a row of shoe shops that only do sizes 7-11 for women. First time I went I bought 3 pairs of boots. Ooops. Handily, there's also a Long Tall Sally if you are similarly proportioned.

Theres a huge gap in the market for really nice well made shoes in large sizes.

There was a company called Ambrr and Rose who filled that gap for a few years, but they folded a year or 2 ago. Massive shame, but they weren't cheap. I can understand why they weren't cheap, so must be difficult to keep a business going if your basic product is quite ££.

Next don't do size 9 properly. I've bought 3 pairs of boots there recently. Sent them al back.

I am a 9/43 and the huge range of DMs are fabulous.

Do you not find DMs just make your feet look really big and clumpy? If you had dinky size 5 hooves, they would look cute but on a size 9?
