Morning Smile

Can someone tell me the sizing for a Pepperberry dress please. I am a 14/16, with 34G norks.

Do they come up big or small, I prefer things to be a bit looser, the site says I'm a 14 really curvy, but I'm thinking of going up to a 16 really curvy.

I'm a 16 in Dorothy Perkins, but a 14 in Wallis/George?

It depends on your body shape and the dress you are looking at tbh - can you link? I've tried a fair number of their things

I've found their sizing very inconsistent in the past. I once ordered two different dresses in the same size and one of them was so huge you could see in one side and out the othet, and the other was so tight around the boobs that I couldn't do the zip up. Confused

On the plus side though, if you do get one that is a good fit, it is a revelation to have a dress that fits both on the top and the bottom

That's why I've been having a mooch on the website, I have to have things a bit too big everywhere else to fit the bust. I haven't owned a shirt/blouse in about 15 years!

If you are an hourglass, I wouldn't size up unless it is a style which is very fitted through the hips. If you order say a 14sc, then it will have waist and hips suitable for a 14, but boobs space which is probably closer to an 18 (roughly!). If you are anything like me, you probably have to go up in dress size to get boob space, but it's then too big on the waist...

The first is looser over the hips so I'd say try the 14. The second top depends on your hips - if your hips are a 14, get the 14, if they're a 16 get the 16. I have a couple of shorter tops with that crossover cut from them and they're quite roomy up top

I know you don't like things too tight, but as treaclesoda says the delight with Pepperberry is that if you find something good it fits properly so looks fitted and flattering rather than strained!
