Stuck in a rut

I feel like I'm in a bit of a rut at the minute, I'm 16 weeks pregnant and seem to have let everything slip since I got my BFP. I'm in my mid 20s but feel I look much older.

I'm plus size and on top of the lack of maintenance - I feel frumpy and bleugh. I have long, fine hair which I never know what to do with. I work from home so only ever really bother with hair/makeup at the weekend.

Would anyone like to advise me of how to get my hair cut or make up looks to try that might suit me?

TIA Flowers

You look lovely! Really, your makeup is just right, IMO, but if you wanted something a bit different best thing is probably to get yourself down to one of the posh cosmetics counter and get them to try some things out. I've heard good things about the MAC one. Would be like a nice bit of pampering as well. Don't let them cake you in foundation though, you have such nice skin.

I think you look great!! Might want to lose the hairband though - bit little girly. I prefer your hair in the straighter picture.

I think 16 weeks is a terrible stage not properly pregnant just bigger looking and uncomfortable.

I don' think you look much older either.

Thanks for your lovely comments. I will book an appointment with MAC Nabootique, see if they can give me some tips and ideas to freshen up.

Wips You're right, 16 weeks is a weird stage, I am still missing the mystery glow people talk about!

What is you don't see in yourself. You're absolutely beautiful. I hate anyone undermining themselves

Ilive What a kind and lovely thing to say, thank you Flowers. I got married last year and fell pregnant much sooner than expected (PCOS) so I feel like everything's changed and I'm not quite keeping up.
