Tights and big pants help needed

New job necessitates skirts and dresses on occasion. Trouble is whenever I wear tights or big pants they tend to roll down to fit snugly along my cs scars but that just accentuates the overflap.

Anyone else had this and how do you get around it?

Yeah I get this all the time, but the last tights I bought were the primark slimming ones and they are and really cheap. They really do the job.

Thanks - nearest primark is about 20 miles away so will try and get there over half term

Yeah my nearest one is about an hour and a half away so its a rare occasion when I get to go and the highlight of my year. I have the same I have had 4 children but only the last was a csection and I have a keloid scar, it gets irritated very easily.

I get roll down as well. So annoying.

No cs scar for me but I do get very itchy stretch marks.

Another vote dir the Primarni pants. The high-waisted ones - they pretty much meet up with my bra line, so i feel covered.

No specific advice about tights: I tend to get either Sainsburys Basics or Superdrug; just dont skimp on size.

GermanHouseCat · 12/02/2015 17:49

Right.

You need:

M&S support tights
M&S full briefs
Long vests from Primark, snug fit.

Put vest on, out knickers over the top to tuck best in (like a body). Then tights over top. Gives a really smooth line under anything .

The primark hold in vests are brilliant they give me a fantanstic shape and they are very long £5.

eatyourveg · 12/02/2015 20:07

I'm of a certain age and get rather hot rather quickly - never usually wear vests under a dress - it would be stifling surely?

Just to say thank you for the Primark tip - bought several pairs in half term, first day on the new job today and not a single roll down. They reach almost as high up as my bra but are fab!!

Tucking the vest in stopped that rolling up too
