Any experience with these boots?
Santa brought them and I love them for walking in mud and water (I live in Scotland, have a touring caravan and boot in a local loch so get wet a muddy rather frequently) - they are holding up much better than previous wellies; even the posh ones 
.
However, they absolutely eat my socks! I walk 10 steps and no matter what socks I wear, their edge will be under me heels.
Does anybody wear this kind of boot barefoot?? Because that is what I am tempted to try and do imagine the smell after a while
