What shoes/boots with a brown suede skirt?

I quite fancy buying one of these 70s brown suede skirts that are around now to wear for a party on Saturday.

Can't work out what shoes/boots would go with it at this time of year though? I have knee high flat leather black boots but I think they would look strange? Would brown boots look a bit matchy? I have brown brogue boots?

Any ideas? The party is in a pub and kicks off mid afternoon so not smart.

Ha! Yes thanks frankie, I googled and saw that image just now. I do have some beige boots just like that but maybe a pale beige is too far away from brown. I may be overthinking this....
