I'm not sure why I've put this in style and beauty as I don't care about either, I just want my feet to stop hurting!
But long story short, I have size 8, very wide feet due to operations to try and correct congenital deformities. I have no arches, so wear orthotics and keep getting stress fractures as my bones are very twisted.
Have seen a specialist but my feet are a complete mess and I'm not a candidate for surgery.
Can anyone recommend a wide fitting but supportive shoe/ trainer for me to try? They can be a bit roomy as I have to be able to fit inserts as well.
Fit flops are too narrow, at the moment I'm living in Sketchers go walk, but they don't have the support.
When I'm not crippled by foot pain, I do a lot of walking ( have kids and dogs) so something okay with mud etc is fine.
