I've just bought these online, I love the colour and style, but because of the design they gape at the top. I'm not sure if this would annoy me? Will they look a bit odd?

Can you adjust the top strap to make them less gapey?

No there are only 3 holes and that's on the tightest. I've tried puling it tighter to see if I could put an extra hole in but then they look all bunched up. I'm going to have to send them back aren't I? I think I'd feel uncomfortable wearing them. Such a pity, lovely leather and 50% off

Shame but yes, they do look too gapey as they are. Guess there's a reason why they were 50% off . Lovely boots otherwise

That's a shame, I think they look good and would wear them like that. Pity to miss a good deal but I guess it's no deal at all if you don't wear them
