Perfect plimsolls?

Can anyone help me to find something similar to these but in a darker grey?

I know there are loads of this type of thing, but I like the rounded toe, and all the other plimsolls I've seen seem to be a more pointed toe.
I'd also consider a ballet flat type thing with a rounded toe, in dark grey.

Converse?

I have a charcoal pair that are darker- but they do come up a bit narrow (I'm a skinny feet type though)

perfectlybroken · 08/02/2015 12:19

Yeah I like the converse ones, and they would remind me of my youth Grin but not sure I like the narrowness of them. I'm thinking of getting the rocketdog ones and dyeing them!

I love these Bensimon ones, love love love them. Nostalgia or summat like that. Bring me back to childhood. Aren't they lovely? But they're not cheaper than your eBay onesSad.

I think Next might have done something v similar last year or 2 summers ago for about a tenner. So keep an eye.

lurkingaround · 08/02/2015 13:47

I like your Rocketdog ones a lot.

Have a look here too. Possibly not as nice as your Rocketdog but you might get the right colour?

perfectlybroken · 08/02/2015 15:46

lurking I've looked at the bensimon ones and quite like them but find the rubber toe a big. Perhaps I'm looking for attainable perfection!
Your link didn't work, can you try it again Smile

OP posts:
perfectlybroken · 09/02/2015 09:21

summary?? Confused summery!

OP posts:
lurkingaround · 09/02/2015 09:40

Oohhh, no, they wouldn't be my choice. Sorry, not keen on those at all.

perfectlybroken · 14/02/2015 16:06

if anyone is still around and interested in my fascinating Hmm plimsoll hunt, I think I've decided on these or these which do you like best?
I'm erring towards the ballet style as I like to be able to slip shoes on and off without faffing, always good with a child in each arm...

OP posts:
lurkingaround · 14/02/2015 16:55

I much prefer the regular plimsolls (not the ballet ones) do I do get the relief of a slip-on with a child in each arm....

perfectlybroken · 15/02/2015 12:29

went for the regular ones (and got them in the sale), I'll do the laces loosely! Thanks lurking for your contribution to my plimsoll decision!
