I think it's terrible. It dries quickly, but that's the only plus. It is hard to apply nicely, it chips almost instantly and the rest wears off quite quickly

I agree with whywait. It's my favourite and I've tried just about everything (used to work in cosmetics for 15 years including chanel and clinique). I do find however that it works best if you do two coats and use a base coat and a top coat. If you do that and let each coat dry really well it should last ages. I love the nail rescue from rimmel as a base coat. It dries super fast .

Great if you don't have much time , but it does chip very easy and doesn't last long , yes it's fine if you use a top coat but defeats the purpose as have to wait for it to dry then ! But still worth it as I often do it seconds before leaving the house if having a cant be ar^*d day ;)

I love it ..... When I think of the money my Chanel nail polish collection has eaten up!
Yes, the second coat makes a difference.
The glitter ones take forever to remove .,,. But i think that's the glitter's fault not specifically Rimmel!

Thanks for your replies. Those of you who don't rate it, what do you recommend? I have a bottle of OPI which is lovely but it still chips the next day.

Maybelline Forever Strong gel finish and No 7 Gel Shine nail polish.

I prefer the Rimmel Salon Pro to the 6 seconds.

I've had this on since Wednesday and no chips yet. I think this is one of the best.

Which nail varnish is that?

I like it. It's one that lasts the longest on me, which is not long, but it's the same for everything. I also rate Barry m nail varnishes. Just bought the maybelline 7 day one, did them last night, already chipped!

The Rimmel Salon Pro is the best polish I own. I don't rate the 60 second stuff at all, which is annoying as there are some lovely colours, rose libertine I think it's called is a lovely pink if only it came in the Salon Pro range. Essie is my fave brand for colours and mostly good staying power although some random colours don't apply well.

I only buy the clear one which is excellent. Better than higher end brands.

I swear by make up gallery time to shine.. From the pound land. All various colors glitters top coats nail hardners ect. Goes on gorgeous. You can't fault it
