please recommend jeans trousers for curvy bum and tum

ive recently had my eyes opened to the fact that my loose fitting, baggy and elastic waist trouser & joggers, are although comfortable, not doing me any favours.

i have been waiting until i could get back into my pre pregnancy jeans. But i really need to embrace my new size and shape now.

i am 5ft 2inch tall and about a size 14/16 lower half, but i have a tummy and bum. Jeans/trousers that fit in the legs/hips, have a massive gap at the back of the waist band.
All seem to be designed for flatter/smaller bums.

i am over weight, but i am curvy... on hips, tummy and bottom.. suggestions please?

If you can find them & budget permits, Levis Made and Crafted. I have a fantastic pair of very slight bootcut (yes, I know, 'bootcut' but they suit my short curvy self) and they wash brilliantly.

I also like 7 For All Mankind high waist bootcut.

I've tried a few pairs of NYDJ and although I didn't end up buying they were a nice fit (but I preferred the 7 For All Mankind).

Diesel do some curvy styles, but I tend to find not great if I'm carrying weight on the front.

I'm not much use with lower budget though as I tend to either splurge on a nice pair if I need new jeans Right Now or hit the sales with a vengeance.

I'm 5', 10-12 (nearer 12) and although flattish on the tummy, am curvy of hips and bum.

i bought a pair of skinny jeans, a pair of straight jeans and some harem style trousers at Sainsburys today. The jeans actually do come in around my bum! my bum actually looks quitw good! So happy! Plus got them at 25% off, bargain!

and you were right about the size and length14 short in the straight leg jeans, but a 16 in skinnies.
