Can anyone recommend good navy tights, ideally either 80/100/120 denier?

Thank you!

M&S do some fabulous ones that look ace on. Also very good quality & price!

I only ever find 40/60 denier or merino wool ones in navy when I go to M&S - love their tights in general so it would be ideal. Will look online...

I know they do 100 denier navy ones online, they are called Heatgen or something similar.

I can't fault the M&S ones; 60denier, but they seem darker, come in a pack of three. Beautiful soft texture.

DD1 wears them for school, and is always pinching mine.

I love the 60 den ones for autumn/spring, it's more a case of thicker = warmer for winter! I have lovely thick black opaques, and even coloured ones, but navy seem hard to find.

I got some lovely ones in Tesco. It was an emergency buy and they have washed well.

I second third fourth M & S, I live in them as seem to have more morphed into my Mother and Navy is my wardrobe staple! A couple of times have found some good bargains in TK Maxx but is pure chance.

Just bought but haven't worn yet some M and S 100 denier 'thermal' tights. They are a nice really dark navy which I prefer.

dustdragon · 05/02/2015 21:59

John Lewis do nice ones in packs of 3, they just wash and wash and go on for ever.

candykane25 · 05/02/2015 22:31

Matalan do navy opaques.

TheFairyCaravan · 05/02/2015 22:37

Next do 200 denier. I wear their kids tights. The navy ones I've got are thinner than 100 denier but the colour is a true navy not pale, iykwim.

New Look do navy opaques, too as do Asos.

I have got some super thick fleecy ones from Primark, but judging by the same ones in maroon which I have worn three times, they will not last (bobbly, worn-looking). Shame as they are nice fit and warm, but couldn't really recommend them.

Having gone the full range from Primark to Wolford etc over the years, I do actually think M&S are the best ratio of price/quality.

isntthatapippip · 06/02/2015 01:20

I only ever buy wolford now. They feel amazing and last forever.

I bought some Dunnes 80 denier recently & they're nice (& cheap). I've only worn them once but they were a nice fit & smooth.
