That in between time .......

It s in between seasons, I am so tired of my winter coat, and winter wardrobe and boots..... I want some spring additions to my wardrobe.

But I m 5 weeks pregnant, I don't want to overly invest in anything new. I don't trust my hormones when I m choosing fashion going on my previous pregnancies!
I was very good over January / December really didn't shop much. I m not ready for maternity gear. My jeans still fit (I ve been lucky with previous pregnancies that I could wear non maternity jeans for nearly 20 weeks .... Tempting fate now I know!).
I need some inspiration to get me through the next few weeks. Anyone any ideas on how to add a little 'something ' to current wardrobe?

I need something nice, new not too expensive - or if it is it needs to be an investment that I ll wear again..... Help!!!

I love a rock chick vibe, love blazers, shirts, t s and skinnies ....(avant guard I know ...)

I have a hankering for a deep rich blue almost navy but not quite, velvet blazer ........

And maybe some stylish trainer/ casual style shoes / spring boots ...(have loafers, pointy black flats, cons and bikers,

I don't really wear leggings, tunics, or waterfall cardi s !

For some ideas?

Boho fashion is the thing this season so....what about a pair of kickflare jeans and a nice top with a suede tassle bag and some wedges?

What about the above with a velvet blue blazer...very boho.

and lots of inspiration with clean lines on this website:

Cheers! Have hit the shops and found a blazer that might carry me though! Holding off on jeans- afrain that by the time I fit into skinnies again they ll all be out of fashion ShockShock

Loving MD look book (but my experience of their quality hasn't been wonderful- they re zara in a tidier shop with 20% added on for the experience IMHO Grin)

Really?? Interesting to know as i havent ordered anything from them but i just love the look of their clothes. You have also inspired me to think about my spring wardrobe!!! I have hundreds of clothes though so really dont need anything.

Maybe I m being harsh!
I have some of their jeans that I have for ages but their tops are very fine - I ve a few with beading that have developed holes in them after a few washes.
Don't get me wrong I like zara and MD but find you have to check quality/ seams etc - would go instore rather than ordering online. I ve never tried their footwear.
Reminds me I found utterique a bit better quality and similar in style too, (have stuff from shopping on holidays before they became a thing here,).

What about a stretchy tube skirt. Very comfy and will see you through some of your pregnancy. Im sure that next would do a few. Wear with a nice longish top and some ankle boots. I wear mine to work. I am trying to exercise my tummy off and wear my tube skirt [mine was a spotty one that i got from white stuff] because its so bloody forgiving!!!

Hey that s a good idea! Have a me and em ruched one somewhere must dig it out....
Never sure what to wear on top though, Breton maybe..?
I had forgotten how it is to be so damn tired. Yuk. Not a fan of pregnancy. Have no interest in anything today.
