Quick advice needed, please: Shoes for work - patent or plain black?

Just that. I have inspected my interview/work wardrobe with an unsatisfactory result, especially regarding shoes (most recent purchase being Camper court shoes in 2011). So an update is in order, ideally in the sales. Obviously going for plain court shoes, in plain black? (To go with a black or grey skirt suit)

Thank you all fashionistas. Flowers

I know nothing about fashion (still an 80's goth) but I would go for ....... um...... patent!

frankietwospots · 04/02/2015 14:58

ha ha, I used to be an 80s goth too EauPea! Another vote for patent.

mycatlikestwiglets · 04/02/2015 15:27

Both are acceptable but plain leather lasts longer so may be a better investment if you're on a budget. If patent cracks or is scratched you can't do much about it but leather always looks better after a polish.

Never been a goth, but patent every time Grin

Plain - I don't like patent.

Thank you all. I went for patent in the end. On a budget, but hoping for the best. Clarks Crisp Kendra. Comfortable and smart (boring). Grin
