Does anyone still do false nails?

Was having a mooch in Boots during my lunch hour yesterday and saw the false nails section. There are some really lovely ones (as well as some really horrendous ones).
I do have nice nails and I generally shape, buff and polish them myself, but I did consider getting some false ones to take on holiday.
However, as you can now get Acrylic nails/shellac nails etc, does anyone actually still buy these?

I do! :-) I use them for special occasions etc. they stick really well these days (up to 7 days) and you can buy packs of just the sticky tabs so can stick back on if one falls off or to reuse. (I don't use glue) I like acrylics but too much of a faff to keep having them done or to remove them
