To give me some ideas. Hopefully not too expensive.

I'm very much a jeans and t.shirt girl but want to put the boat out as there's going to be a lot of very eligible men there - and quite a few 'shlebs too..

I guess you want the brownish coat to co-ordinate with the dress you bought below - bronze-coloured fascinator thus might work. Do you have any shoe plans?

TheDaVinciCod · 24/10/2006 08:46

id do bronze too
i dg et a fab hat tbh nto a feather thign
ahte em

TheDaVinciCod · 24/10/2006 08:48

likee this if is suits but int eh right oclour

TheDaVinciCod · 24/10/2006 08:49

or this bit in a palin fur

MrsBadger · 24/10/2006 09:03

love fur hat but depends on flavour of wedding
proper hat good in draughty church but (IME) looks silly in civil ceremony in hotel or similar.

more details MT!

Monkeytrousers · 24/10/2006 09:52

Oh, this is such fun!!

It's in a very old drafty church in Northumberland - I like the idea of the cossack hat.

For feet I'm betting on these

Are fascinators like brooches?

OP posts:
MrsBadger · 24/10/2006 10:13

ooh, not bad boots - maybe get a bag in similar shade of suede?

fascinators are those things that go in your hair thus but agree fur hat is a great idea - very Dr Zhivago.

Monkeytrousers · 24/10/2006 10:19

You got shares in M&S Cod?

Monkeytrousers · 24/10/2006 11:20

Nice hats but I'm veggie so can't do sheepskin on principle. Gonna pop into M&S tomorrow and try a few on.

Nice jacket too but I think I'm going to plump for a simple wrap for the indoors reception.

LOL at the muff!
