Is paisley frumpy?

Thinking of buying a blue/black paisley long top.

Frumpy? Never

I love paisley, the smaller patterns rather than bigger.
My favourite item of clothing is a long sleeved stretchy paisley top . Mainly brown but with red,black,olive,cream so goes with loads.

I love paisley. I don't find it frumpy but I do find it dull when it's in browns, that sort of colour set. I have a really nice purple and deep teal paisley scarf somewhere that I really should dig out and I have a really lovely purple paisly shawl that is vintage 70's that i ought to wear, My Mum gave it to me and I've had it for many years now, it's been a shawl, a table cover, a dolls blanket a baby blanket and a bed wrap through it's life
