...recommending La Roche Posay. DD has struggled with her skin for about 5 years, since mid-teens. She has tried everything from the pill to antibiotics to creams that bleached our towels to stop the spots and blemishes. Nothing worked at all.

Having read about La Roche Posay on here, I bought her some Effaclar products at Christmas. Within 3 weeks her skin was transformed, and it's actually glowing now. Even in photos - bearing in mind that she used to wear lots of concealer and foundation to cover the blemishes - you can see the difference. So thank you, those recommendations have made a huge difference to her skin AND her confidence Smile

Same here Follyfoot, my teen DD had mild spots and blemishes and nothing was working. She has now been using La Roche Posay, thanks to a S & B recommendation, for a year and her skin is beautiful and completely clear.

Hi can I ask which products from the range is your DD using? Bought the set of 3 for my DD 4 weeks ago.

Follyfoot · 31/01/2015 21:24

Hi Panda, my DD is using the Effaclar purifying foaming gel, Effaclar Clarifying Lotion and Effaclar Duo+ (have just checked my order!). Think that is what is in the set of 3 too isnt it?

Her skin really was quite bad, and its completely cleared up. It looks fantastic, am so happy for her. Hope your DD gets similar results Smile

Thanks Follyfoot - yes they are the same ones. Hopefully it will work but just seems to be taking longer. Still great to know that she is using the right products.

I'm so happy for her OP. You can't underestimate the confidence zapper that is blemished skin. Especially for a teen.

Fingers crossed Panda, it would be great if you could update us with some good news.

And Squoosh, mmm she really struggled with how her skin was, it just looked so angry, and she wore the thickest, most covering foundation she could find bless her.

Flowers to the lovely MNers who recommended it and I hope it does the job for lots more people (esp Panda's DD).

Definitely fingers crossed Follyfoot and thanks for your kind thoughts. MN S&B is great for stuff like this. Will update with how my DD gets on.
