Cheap and easy ways to pamper myself

I have been feeling down recently and want to give myself a bit of pampering and a makeover. I have been rather slobby this week and need to bathe and wash my hair for a start. I have a hair appointment booked for next weekend and will be getting my eyebrows done as well. But what could I do at home which is cheap and easy to make myself feel a bit better?

Polish nails.
Wear mascara.
Put foundation on red cheeks (if you have, like I do!)
Spend 20 minutes reading a good book I disturbed.

undisturbed I mean!

Paint toenails (mine are currently Tiffany blue).
Face mask in the bath.

The nail painting and face masks both sound ideal. I have also found some body scrub in the cupboard so will give that a go as well.

Need to pick up some nail varnish tomorrow. Any colour suggestions?

veet microwave wax

bodyscrub ( Soap & Glory or Sanctuary in Boots) or if you want super-cheap, sea-salt and oil.

I was going to suggest nail polish.

Fake tan?
My friend likes to say "orange is a happy colour". :)

I'm liking taupe polish at the mo. Rimmel /Maybelline.
Or blood red for glamour.
