Vintage experts again please

Following on from another thread about a Biba dress, can ask for advice in my Givenchy dress. I've googled it and can't find it. It's highly unusual and really gorgeous but I do wonder if I've been 'had'! Does anyone know about givenchy clothes?

'Had' in what way? Overpriced or fake?

My mum had a few pieces from the 90s and the label was different, it was the old logo, but this might be from an earlier date probably 70s or early 80s based on the cut of the dress, but this pattern, is very Givenchy, if you search for Givenchy clothes, form the 60s-early 90s, you will find this pattern,

I've just had a look at the label resource and it's from the 1980s.

I agree that it's 80's - it looks in very good condition. Does it fit beautifully?
