Need a watch for mum's 60th

My mum is about to turn sixty and I want to get her a watch as a gift. My budget is around £200/250.

She prefers silver to gold and probably would like something quite classic and feminine. I'm at a loss for nice brands and styles in that price bracket. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Get a Citizen Eco-Drive one that never needs batteries. Smile

Lots of them on the H Samuel website. Might be worth checking Argos too

Was going to suggest a citizen Eco drive too - some really lovely styles and the not needing batteries and long warranty is really attractive too.

Goldsmiths stock them as well.

Make sure the face/numbers are big enough for her to see without her glasses, unless she is one of those people who wears glasses all the time.

I had to exchange a beautiful watch because I couldn't see it without fishing around for my reading glasses every time I wanted to know the time..

Have a look at Christopher Ward - really nice watches, really well made, but affordable - they get great reviews from 'watch nerds'. Have bought two for special occasion gifts and been really impressed.
