I know these questions are asked ALL the time, but I really am clueless and need some help!!

We have been invited to a wedding, 3 weeks away. It seems to have crept up on me and I now am panicking about what to wear. Its an evening only invite.

Totally not a dress person, only for weddings and the odd party. Nothing I have fits me as I've put on weight Blush

I'm about 5ft4 size 16, large boobs, narrow back, okish waist, need to cover arms, legs ok (with opaque tights) but don't like too short.

I'm 39 but find a lot of the styles aimed at my age are just too 'grown up' looking! I'm just not liking the look of anything really so far, although not tried anything on yet...

Would be so thankful of any ideas at all...

How about Monsoon? Especially the fusion range- not too grown up looking. Plus some good reductions in their sale just now.

lacy sleeves

I had the above in black as my christmas party dress, have worn it loads and now it looks good belted with boots and a cardigan as a day dress, so I will get good wear out of it.

That's lovely! Yes, I like the idea of something that can be worn in daytime too. Only thing that I'm not sure about with that is the seam where the lace is - does the fabric flow from there like an empire line?

Going to look at rest of monsoon now, had forgotten about them!
