Sorry if this has been done before. I'm sure it will have.

I'm almost at the end of the bottle and was wondering if anyone had any alternatives that were just as good if not better?
I have the tonic and the moisturiser too so am looking for them all. Probably around a similar price bracket too.

I generally have really dry skin, not really prone to breakouts or anything.

Hope you wonderful ladies can help Smile

Wild Rose Beaty Balm from Neals Yard. Smells gorgeous, lasts forever and does the job really well. It's more of a balm than C&P (almost waxier) but this slight greasiness gets rid of waterproof mascara and my skin doesn't dry out at all. It can also be used on cracked heels, dry elbows, cuticles, sunburn etc.

The superdrug one, hang on I'm getting out of bed to look - Vitamin E Hot Cloth Cleanser. It's brilliant, very much like the Liz Earle except nowhere near as highly fragranced - the LE is very frankincense heavy, I can smell it through the sealed box!

Thank you both. I'll check them out.

Does superdrug do a range of the vitamin E stuff? Moisturiser etc?

Superdrug have two - vitamin e and naturally radiant.

Another fan of the Superdrug one much cheaper and better than the Liz Earle one.

I use the Superdrug naturally radiant one. It's great and a fraction of the price. I never pay full price, only ever buy it on half price offers.

I do love and still use C&P as my day to day cleaner (but do use other cleansers from time to time as I am a bit of product junkie) but recently forgot to pack some when I had a night away. I popped into a local chemist and there was not a lot of choice so picked up Ponds Cold Cream Cleaner - the pink one. (I last used it when I was about 14). Anyway I used it the same way I would use C&P, massaged in on a dry face and removed with a hot cloth and it took off all the makeup (did not use it on my eyes) and my face felt nice and soft. I used it last night on my neck which is dryer than my face and it worked a treat. I would not use it on face on a regular basis as I have more combination skin but it may be worth a try and it was only about £3/4.

Another vote for Superdrug's Naturally Radiant version. I'm on my second tube and think it's really good.

Germgirl · 26/01/2015 11:41

I just started to use the Superdrug vitamin E hot cloth wotsit & I'm loving it so far. It was half price so about 2 quid or something silly & it's very good so far. I'd highly recommend it.
And yes, they do a whole range of vitamin E lotions & potions, I bought the scrub as well & that's good too

Parrotcake · 26/01/2015 12:26

You could try Pai Skincare. The cleanser is very similar to the Liz Earle one if you like a creamy cleanser. The range is lovely and I highly recommend.

If you want all from the same range the superdrug Vitamin e stuff is really lovely. The intense moisture cream and night cream were great on my combination skin and never caused breakouts.

avagosling · 26/01/2015 16:24

OCM is my favourite now, as good as Liz Earle, A LOT cheaper and very easy to make

Thanks everyone!
The vitamin E range seems to be a big hit.
I'm not that desperate to have all the same range but have had it drilled into me by me dm that "these ranges are all designed to work together..."
Not sure where my nearest superdrug is but I'll find one I'm sure.
I'll also have a look further into ocm, sounds interesting albeit a little scary! Thanks again Grin
