Have yet to find a holy grail foundation so change every time I need a new one. Have most recently tried Nars Sheer Glow and Giorgio Armani. What else is good?

I use Lancome Teinte Miracle and really like it

Whippet81 · 24/01/2015 19:25

I've just bought Dior Star. Is lovely.

frankietwospots · 24/01/2015 21:41

I'm on my fourth bottle of Estee Lauder Double Wear, applied with a Real Techniques stippling brush which makes ALL the difference.

McFox · 24/01/2015 21:44

YSL Touché Éclat, it's dewy and perfect when applied with a brush.

Iwantahandbag · 24/01/2015 22:29

Lancôme teint Idole. I've tried others but always go back to this one.

ForSaleChesterDraws · 24/01/2015 22:30

What didn't you like about the Nars and the GA? Which GA was it? LSF or another one?

LovelyBranches · 24/01/2015 22:34

I have combination skin and a love of foundation. I have tried lots of different brands and find that they either go shiny on my nose or they are slightly orange even if they've been colour matched. My absolute favourite for a flawless look is Clarins Everlasting Foundation but Shu Uemura face architect is also beautiful.

BestIsWest · 24/01/2015 22:54

Lancome Teint Miracle here too.

thisissohard · 25/01/2015 09:02

I'm interested in trying Armani's Luminous Silk foundation, so interested in any feedback on this. I'm still loving Revlon Colorstay for combination skin, but wondering if the Armani is any better...

Lancôme teint miracle for me too as recommended on here!

OuchLegoHurts · 25/01/2015 10:22

Mac Pro Longwear. Unbelievable! I could never find a foundation that looked creamy and natural yet had really good coverage. This stuff is incredible. For example, I put it on one morning at 7, worked all day, went to spinning class at 8 pm and at the end of the class it was still perfect and I wasn't the least bit red or sweaty! I've even been asked by colleagues what it is since I've started wearing it because they want to get it...loooooove it!

50shadesofmeh · 25/01/2015 16:23

tarte amazonian clay foundation, its completely flawless.

Alpacacino · 25/01/2015 17:04

Chanel Vitalumiere, good coverage and gives an instant glow while still looking natural.

MondayNext · 25/01/2015 17:09

Boots natural collection tinted moisturiser - enough coverage to make a difference, without having to 'apply' it (I can just squirt and bit out and rub it in) - and it's only £1.99!
I feel like stocking up before you all go and buy it now (or before they put the price up), but that would instantly cause me to become allergic Grin

BiggerYellowTaxi · 25/01/2015 17:18

Another Lancome Teint Miracle fan here. I forget how good it is until I put on something else and wonder why I look a bit dull.

yazzy85 · 25/01/2015 17:29

Double wear light is quite good too

BallroomWithNoBalls · 25/01/2015 17:50

Bourjois healthy mix serum here.

I have YSL Teint Éclat but prefer the Bourjois.

It's dewy and the perfect colour for me and stays put all day. I'm actually scared to try anything else now, it's my hg foundation - they'd better never discontinue it.

squoosh · 25/01/2015 19:45

Make Up Forever are coming to the UK. They have some really pale shades I can't wait to try.

nottheOP · 25/01/2015 19:47

Dior forever

wrapsuperstar · 25/01/2015 20:05

Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra 24h -- very unusually for me, I am actually nearly finishing the bottle of this one (ordinarily I get bored and buy something else after a week or two). Colour matches perfectly, it's flattering and ever so slightly dewy without being shiny or glittery and it seems kind to my skin, too. I struggle with most foundations, even higher end ones being too yellow for my skin but this is a perfect pale pinkish tone.

Still, the fickle disloyal me is considering trying YSL Fusion Ink thingamajig next... Any reviews?

TheMD · 25/01/2015 20:23

wrapsuperstar - I have been using YSL Fusion Ink for a couple of weeks now (after not getting on with their Touche Eclat one) and it is amazing. The coverage is medium, certainly not full and has a matte/velvety finish. Shade selection is brilliant and caters for warm, cool and every undertone in between. It also smells of rosewater!

I have "normal" skin, if that makes any difference. If I had dry skin, I would have stayed with Touche Eclat as it was just too dewy but very lovely otherwise.

SorrelForbes · 25/01/2015 20:28

Armani Silk is lovely but I struggled to get a good enough colour match for my liking (I had the same problem with YSL Touch Eclat and Dior Star). I've gone back to No.7 Lift and Luminate. The Cool Ivory colour matches my skin exactly and the texture and coverage are very good for a mid range product.

NK5BM3 · 25/01/2015 20:31

I've used Estée Lauder double wear and lancome teint idole. Both I really like and would go back if I needed full coverage.

Am being brave now and have now got Mac match master. I wear that with some pore thing that minimizes shine and really works! I like this v much at the moment.

wrapsuperstar · 27/01/2015 13:49

Thank you TheMD, from what you say it is JUST what I am looking for. Will go and get matched soon...
