Having my eyes tested next week and even if my eyes haven't deteriorated I am going to get a new pair and keep my old ones as a spare pair.

Are the frameless glasses trendy or are they a bit older lady? I am forty five by the way.

Rimless glasses are still popular but may not be the best choice as reading glasses. Because they don't have a frame they need to be handled a bit more carefully - you tend to take off/put on reading glasses rather more frequently and they may not stand up well to constant handling.

I tend to get something similar to these from Tesco. I like the price. I like the fact that they are plastic and therefore less likely to break. I also like how they don't catch in my hair when I put them on the top of my head.
