.....are they wrinkling coz they're cheap and pleather?Or do real ones do this too?

Or would a more expensive pair of pleather ones be less wrinkly?

Or should I just hang up the leggings and walk away......?

I don't know what you're body shape is but unless you're SO tall and SO thin that you would like to look a bit shorter and a bit fatter then I really wouldn't.

LesleyKnopeFan · 23/01/2015 21:12

I am very fortunate to have long, slim legs (upper half, not so great). Is this still a nono. I am newly 40.....

Plus will be wearing high heeled boots for that extra height.

We need a photo to judge properly.

I can't post photies.

I think that if I'm questioning them, it's probably a good indicator that I shouldn't.... I already have the leggings (12.99 from New Look). Reckon they'll look better with a long chunky jumper and flats, so the eye is drawn away from the wrinkles.

Just wondering if real leather ones would wrinkle?

I don't like them, personally. I think even the expensive ones look cheap and I don't think they do anyone any favours.

LesleyKnopeFan · 23/01/2015 21:21

You're prob right Remus, but my face will be glowing sooo much (with my new tinted moisturiser) that maybe no one will notice??!GrinWink

Grin

I'm sure you'll look lovely.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 23/01/2015 21:25

Agree that they'll look better with a jumper and flats, than with heels and dressed up.

MamaLazarou · 23/01/2015 21:27

Go for it, OP, wear your leather-look leggings with pride.

I have a colleague who wears them to work. She looks sensational in them!

frankietwospots · 23/01/2015 21:32

I know exactly what you mean and it is a case of trying on lots to see which look best. The Next ones are brilliant: www.next.co.uk/x5564s4#866526x55

I tried on the H&M ones and New Look ones and it was wrinkle city.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 23/01/2015 21:52

Nice

I love them and have both faux and real leather leggings. From a distance the overall look is quite similar at first but the difference IMO is that my faux ones (from next) are slightly noisy and bag quite easily. They are also not very warm. My real leggings are so comfy, and don't sag at all. I tend to wear mine v dressed down as an alternative to black skinny jeans. As with any fitted bottoms - jeans or trousers, you need to try on loads of pairs to get the right fit.

I have the marks and spencers autograph real leather leggings and they are brilliant! Have even machine washed them and received lots of compliments!
