I want a big triangle shaped scarf

This sort of shape, although I don't particularly like those ones. I thought it would be really easy to find one bu t I haven't.

Have you seen a nice one? For preference, I would like it wooly ish with at least some natural fibre if not all and a pale colour, and I need to by online.

I have tried ponchos, but I look like an idiot in them. I will look fabulous, of course, in a triangle scarf and not at all similar to how I look in a poncho.

I hate to be a dick and point out the obvious - but you do know that to get that triangular shape, you fold a square scarf in half?

I can't find a woolly square one! I mean chunky knit like cable etc.

Knit yourself one :)

Or crochet :o

margaritasbythesea · 23/01/2015 14:27

I dream of lacy crocheted scarves. I have never crocheted a stitch in my life. I could perhaps knit..... but I don't think I can do cable or anything fancy.

Brora maybe

Plus if you search for "shawl" you're more likely to get shape you want I think.

How about this:

I think I would feel very proud of myself if I could do that shawl but I don't think I would be able to. It is lovely.

I love the Brora one too, but not the colour I would like. It's gorgeous.

Asos have a few listed as 'oversize scarf' but again, dark colours...
