Best light BB creams?

I used to wear a lot of foundation due to really spotty and blemished skin. But recently I've spent a lot of time moisturising and drinking enough that my skin is a lot clearer. Most days I can now get away with just moisturiser but do want a BB type cream for days Id like to have a bit more coverage.

I'd rather it didn't cost the earth and hoped some people had suggestions? I have slightly oily, very light skin if that makes a difference. Thanks!!

Your skin sounds quite similar to mine and I love this Bourjois CC Cream in "Ivory":

Quite good coverage but doesn't feel heavy and keeps me matte pretty much all day.

Here's a video of Lisa Eldridge using it on Sophie Dahl:

Another recommendation for the bourjois cc cream from me.

It's an eBay purchase but my favourite is 'Beblesh Balm' by dream girls. It's Korean. Light and glowy.

PinkandTwinkly · 24/01/2015 07:40

Definitely go Korean, far better performance and shade range than Western BBs for pale girls.

I use one by Skin 79, but its for dry skin (gold one) they do others for different skin types tho

Cheesymonster · 24/01/2015 11:35

I just bought Dr Jart+ platinum BB cream but not tried it yet. Has anyone tried this? Reviews say it's very pale.

Also, with the Korean brands, am I supposed to still use a primer underneath?

Sorry for the hijack OP.

I really used to love Korean BBs from Skinfood, especially the good afternoon line. I have trued all of them except the Apple Cinnamon tea and the best was the Berry tea which is light and has great coverage.
The Rose Lemon was also nice but it is lighter coverage, but feels very hydrating.

You get get those on ebay and also order samples, but they are cheap anyway.
I have Boots botanics but feels quite greasy and heavy compared to Skinfood.
