Zara is a bit of a scrum too, isn't it florence?
NQ has you tried TKmaxx (I expect you have) they ofren have marvellously individual stuff
I also got a lovely "pucci" skirt from Matalan

GreenSepticStumps · 18/10/2006 20:43

ROFL @ batwing tops, my mum bought me one of those once "Well, you know, it hides your......well, you know..your arms.

Fuck off.

Love this but too expensive

FC have some nice wraps btw HC

Off to make me coco

harpsichordcarrion · 18/10/2006 20:44

NQC Mango is a bit skimpy ime.
East, Monsoon - these are marvellous shops for the more pneumatic woman (that's you and me...)

harpsichordcarrion · 18/10/2006 20:45

though possibly a bit straight/dull for you NQC tbh...

niceglasses · 18/10/2006 20:46

Really I have only had one glass of wine.

feck

FrannyandZooey · 18/10/2006 20:46

NG Topshop links don't work, you have to TELL US

heifer · 18/10/2006 20:46

No shit, do you really like THAT...

Do you all like it?

If so I think I must be in the wrong thread....

Outta Here (well once I have read some more commentS)...

You know that game you play in the catalogues (always belonged to my friends - never had them in my house)... when you HAVE to pick one item that you would buy...

Well in that picture it would be the notpad...

florenceuk · 18/10/2006 20:46

Batwing sleeves and pucci-print: purple silk dress .
Mango is very small - I hate going in there and having to buy a large.

FrannyandZooey · 18/10/2006 20:47

Oh god NG that is divine and I would look fab in that

heifer · 18/10/2006 20:47

I was referring to the top shop outfit by the way..

niceglasses · 18/10/2006 20:48

The topshop one is a sort of very 60s looking - straight with two buttons at nape of neck, in a mustard colour. Think they also do in black. Bout 40 squids.

FrannyandZooey · 18/10/2006 20:48

HC, NQC is not pneumatic, she has gone all skinny

but we are not supposed to mention it

oh well done, you didn't

FrannyandZooey · 18/10/2006 20:48

How can you all see the topshop outfit???

harpsichordcarrion · 18/10/2006 20:49

NG that babydoll is delicious
heifer, no, don't worry, all right thinking people are appalled by the top shop link

niceglasses · 18/10/2006 20:49

No Heifer she looks like a librarian gawn mad. I can't do the link to the dress I bought. (not likely to be popular tho judging by general rumblings.)

FrannyandZooey · 18/10/2006 20:51

*WHAT FRICKING TOPSHOP LINK???

heifer · 18/10/2006 20:51

Thank god for that.. I was really really worried. I know that I am very lacking in the trend department, but f*ck me I am never ever wearing that (not that they would do it in my size anyway)....

harpsichordcarrion · 18/10/2006 20:51

she just said just then just now she was a pear shape 14/16 though (like me)
which is not Mango/Zara territory ime
she will get stuck in a frock and you'll be to blame.

heifer · 18/10/2006 20:52

niceglasses on Wednesday, 18 October, 2006 8:43:32 PM

Look at the link from the above time etc... it is worth finding it for the laugh...

FrannyandZooey · 18/10/2006 20:52

I famously got stuck in a frock, it is not the exclusive territory of pneumatic women you know

heifer · 18/10/2006 20:53

NG, I am so please you didn't mean that outfit.. I can breath again now.. seriouly thought I was in the wrong zone here...

florenceuk · 18/10/2006 20:53

There are always enormous queues at Zara esp at lunchtime. But they do lovely dressy dresses - lots of empire line frocks at the moment and 50s-style frocks. and actually the small sizes go first!

Franny, I've just bought a really lovely top off the Topshop site - navy patterned silk, sleeveless with black ruffle. I can't get the damn site to load at the moment but it seems to me it would be very you!

niceglasses · 18/10/2006 20:53

www.topshop.co.uk/promostores/tops/index.html?make_live=yes&promo=this link

Site very slow (TS that is)
